Rajang Maju Marine Industries Sdn. Bhd. (previously known as Rajang Maju Shipbuilding Sdn. Bhd.) has been designing and building vessels since its establishment in 1992 on 7th February. The Company operated on a modest 1.4-acre site until year 2006, whereby the Company upgraded and relocated the shipyard to the Rantau Panjang Industrial Zone in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia which is now operating on a mere 10-acre land.

Through the decades, the Company has undertaken the shipbuilding industry of both river line and ocean-going vessels. With its continuous expansion over the years, Rajang Maju Marine Industries Sdn. Bhd. has now become one of the leading shipbuilding companies in Malaysia.

Today, the Company is producing a range of vessels, namely Cargo Vessels, Supply Vessels, Landing Craft Ships, Dump Barges, Fishing Trawlers, Tugboats, Anchor Handling Tugs and more. All the vessels are constructed under IACS standard rules and regulations, and the Company’s Board consists of an executive management team and supporting staff. The aim is to constantly provide efficient, good quality and safe vessels at reasonable prices to all our esteemed customers from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and Australia.
